Selena Gomez looked flawless on the red carpet at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 28, 2011. The 19-year-old singer and actress looked mature and composed and left everyone jealous with her fabulous look at the Los Angelas, California event being held at the Nokia Theater.
Gomez's flawless face was the work of Lancome makeup artist Karan Mitchell. According to the official press release, Mitchell went for the "classic and clean" look with the Wizards of Waverly Place star. She pulled it off beautifully. Gomez's skin seemed to glow under the lighting, and her boyfriend, singer Justin Bieber, couldn't help but sneak in a quick kiss on her cheek.
Selena Gomez wore a stunning black lace gown, and Mitchell complimented the gown by giving the star smoldering black eyes, perfectly arched eyebrows, and rosy metallic lips. The star wore simple black earings, a gold toned bracelet, and carried a small gold handbag. Her dark brown hair was swept away from her face, pulled back and up, and really left the focus on her face and makeup.

On her lips, Mitchell used Color Design Lipstick in Fashion Icon, $22, Lancome; and Color Fever Gloss in Hibis-Kiss, $26, Lancome. The two products worked together to give Gomez those pretty pink lips with a metallic shine.
