Selena Gomez to co-accommodate MuchMusic Video Awards: Selena Gomez is set to co-host and to perform at the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards. The awards celebrate Canadian music and the 18-year-old – who is actually dating Canadian Justin Bieber – has been confirmed for the Toronto ceremony on June 19.
'I am thrilled and honoured to host the MuchMusic Video Awards,' she said in a statement. 'I look forward to seeing all my Canadian fans and kicking off the summer together.'Talking about the announcement, the show's executive producer Sheila Sullivan said, 'Selena Gomez is a bona fide star. Her films and TV show are seen around the world and her songs are topping the charts.'Lady GaGa has already been added to the lineup of acts and more are expected to be revealed later this month.
