Selena Gomez decided to add some new color to her hair just in time for her upcoming tour. "Change is good...My girls @ninezeroone take care of me always :) LOVE," Gomez tweeted after leaving the Nine Zero One salon in West Hollywood.

Selena Gomez was really excited to learn that the final episode of Wizards of Waverly Place was quite a hit. As Alex Russo and her family bid adieux to TV fans, there were lots of them watching. The final episode received phenomenal ratings.

A report from Hollywood Life says Selena herself likely brought in most of the 9.8 million viewers who watched the last episode of the hit Disney series. The finale aired on January 6th, and signified the end of a successful four-year run.

Selena was still a relative unknown when she started filming Wizards of Waverly Place, and now she has a successful acting and singing career—not to mention she is dating Justin Bieber. It definitely sounds like Selena is enjoying the very best of both worlds now in her professional and personal lives.

Selena Gomez, Gregg Sulkin, David Henrie, and Jennifer Stone all played a round of Celebrity Take with Radio Disney’s Jake. The two duos had a blast with him and showed that despite the show being over, they can still have a lot of fun with each other. I love seeing the cast enjoying themselves. It proves that they are close enough to have fun outside of the show. One thing that I also hope for is that we get to see them hanging out with other even though the show ends. We hardly see the cast of Hannah Montana do that and that makes me sad. You spend 4 or 5 years with a set of people and I would think they would become a family. Or at least you would think that they wound want to see each other.

How do you feel about the cast and their closeness? I loved it and I hope they can keep it. They really did become family like in more than one way. We know that at least Jake T. She is about to embark on a tour of South America so perhaps teenage singing sensation Selena Gomez thought her look needed spicing up. And what says you have thrown off the Disney Channel reputation like wild purple and blue highlights. The 19-year-old tweeted two pictures of her new look and it seems ditching her trademark brown locks had just the effect Gomez wanted with her commenting 'Change is good.'

Her vixen-like look is the result of 75 purple and blue hair extensions glued to her own dark locks. 'She wanted something a little more spunky fun and different', Chauntal Lewis, who works at Nine Zero One salon in West Hollywood, where Selena got her hair done, told Hollywood Life. Ms Lewis added Selena told her stylist wanted something fun and exotic for her upcoming South American.

It is not clear what clean-cut boyfriend Justin Bieber, 17, thinks of the look. But the teen sensation can't really criticise after made headlines with the large tattoo of Christ's face on his calf. The young couple were separated for the holiday season as Bieber headed back to his native Canada to spend time with his parents and two younger siblings, and Gomez stayed in the States with her mother who recently suffered a miscarriage. But although they met up for a date with Selena's exotic tour Justin may not get a chance to see his girlfriend's different look in person for weeks. Her first stop on tour is San Juan, Puerto Rico on January 22.

Oh to be young and to be in love. This is the message celebrity couple Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are portraying in a candid photograph the Bieber tweeted earlier today. The caption: 'Having 2 Much Fun.'

It's a rare feat for Justin to be tweeting photographs of him and girlfriend Selena. Yet, this rare shot of him and Selena simply cannot be missed. Taken via Instagram by what looks to be done by a third party, the two can be seen laughing and surely enjoying each other's company.

The two have been the closest of friends before finally dating each other and announcing their relationship publicly on March of 2011. Despite jealous fans and issues revolving around Justin cheating over Selena for a girl named Jasmine, the two remained stuck to each other like glue.

"It's hard," shared Selena in an interview by Hollywood Life on her thought about Bieber's fans hating her. "It hurts, it really does. I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong. I've been best friends with him for a very long time. It does hurt my feelings a lot but I try not to focus on it. I have a strong family and great fans."

Another controversy that sparked last year about the Bieber being a dad to Mariah Yeater's son still did not cause Selena's loyalty to waver. She stood by boyfriend Justin and remained supportive of him.

Despite having spent the holidays separately, the two met up on New Year's Eve right after their individual stints and danced the rest of the night away. The two are very much in love as evidenced by the gazillion of dates Justin spends with Selena and the news of the two publicly displaying their affection for each other.

Being young and in love they have a lot of time on their hands to go on more dates. Indeed they do have time on their hands especially with Selena taking a break from the music scene. Along with her Disney show, Wizards of Waverly Place, final episode all wrapped up, all that Selena is left to do is focus on the filming of her upcoming film "Springbreakers" which also stars Emma Roberts.

"2 Much Fun" is definitely the best phrase to describe the current status of this celebrity couple. With the rumor mill on hiatus, the two can surely spend more time together without having to worry about any relationship drama.

Singer-actress Selena Gomez is all set to perform for UN Children's Fund (Unicef) in a bid to raise funds for the organisation. Gomez joined forces with UNICEF in 2008 and became an official representative of the charitable cause, children rights, the following year.

"Giving back has always been important to me. This concert allows me to connect with my fans in person which is one of the best parts of my job and to raise money for important causes at the same time, I can't think of anything I would enjoy doing more," contactmusic.com quoted her a saying. Gomez and her band The Scene will perform will take to the stage at the House of Blues in Los Angeles Jan 20 to raise funds.

Teen sensation Selena Gomez has a lot of friends: a whopping 9 million who follow her on Twitter, and 25 million who "Like" her on Facebook. Gomez likes to keep in touch, with daily updates and an occasional postcard. Recently, she stumbled onto an app that turns digital smartphone images into physical postcards, and the star liked the app so much she decided to invest in the company. Gomez, who starred on the Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place and is now making movies and albums, invited USA TODAY to her home in Los Angeles. She talked with us about the Postcard on the Run app, Twitter, Facebook, and which technology she uses to watch TV.

"I was looking through a bunch of different apps. I like photo apps to put effects on pictures. I found the Postcard app and I thought, why isn't this bigger? It's so cool. "I don't think about the number when I Twitter. I just think about what I'm going to say. I love the instant connection. It's a great way to let people know what you're up to." She tweets every day. She must be sighing a few breaths of relief, as Selena Gomez - who was spotted arriving in Mexico with Justin Bieber on Saturday (January 7) - has seen her stalker be hit with a long-term restraining order. On Friday, a judge smacked Thomas Brodnicki with a three-year order after he, himself, said, “a restraining order should be issued against me to prevent me from trying to contact Selena.”

He must’ve had a change of heart, as - back in November - Brodnicki pled not guilty to stalking charges and had his case dismissed. Gomez initially took action after Thomas stalked and threatened to kill her.

Selena Gomez has won a long-term restraining order against the man who threatened to kill her. Thomas Brodnicki is to stay away from the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star for three years, L.A. Superior Court Judge William D. Stewart ruled on Friday, January 6.

Brodnicki, who has a history of mental illness told people that he had conversations with God about murdering the actress. The 46-year-old man admitted to psychiatrist that he made several visits to her workplace. He was sued for stalking charges but Brodnicki pled not guilty in November and his case was dismissed.

This is both a victory and a relief for Gomez because her petition for the long-term protection was previously denied twice because prosecutors did not provide enough argument and Brodnicki was not present to tell his side of story. Nevertheless, Police described Brodnicki as a "serious threat" to Gomez.

On Friday, Gomez's lawyer also presented a declaration from Brodnicki himself that said "a restraining order should be issued against me to prevent me from trying to contact Selena." He added, "I know it is the only thing that will make me stay away from Selena."

After "When the Sun Goes Down", Selena Gomez won't release a new album anytime soon. The "Hit the Lights" singer revealed in an interview with E! News recently that she and her band The Scene are going to take a hiatus from music so that she could focus more on her acting career in the big screen.

"We're going to take a break from music," Selena said. The teen who just wrapped up "Wizards of Waverly Place" added, "My band and I are going to chill on that for a second. I'll be doing two films in the beginning of [2012], which I'm excited about. They are both different and things I've never played before."

She's indeed attached to two movie projects; "Spring Breakers" and "Hot Mess". The former follows four college girls who rob a fast food joint so they afford to go on spring break in Florida, while the latter is about four girls desperately trying to avoid becoming the hot messes they are destined to be.

Talking about her goal for the future, the girlfriend of Justin Bieber said in a separate interview that she would love to be involved in another TV series like "Friends". The actress, who launched her career as a Disney star, gushed, "I'd love to be part of another ensemble series, something contemporary and kooky and funny and a bit romantic."

Another thing she would love to try is making feature films. She stated, "Ideally dramatic ones and I know you have to be careful about how you do it. That's one of the reasons I admire Rachel McAdams so much. I love the choices she's made and the way she seems to be playing out her career. I'd love to talk to her and figure out why she does what she does."
